Our mission is to drive positive behaviour change to conserve our aquatic environments and protect wildlife. Our oceans are under many pressures from human impacts and if we don’t make changes we could lose the very thing that is sustaining us.
That means each and every one of us can take an action, no matter how small to make a difference.
We need your help right now…
Following are a few actions you can take to make a difference to the health of our oceans.
- Choose to reuse for plastic free seas. Get yourself a reusable coffee cup, water bottle and shopping bag and you’ve saved a significant amount of plastic debris entering our oceans.
- Look for Marine Stewardship Council certified fish product and ‘pole and line’ caught tinned tuna. By supporting these two products you are supporting fisheries that are driving to improve their impacts such as reducing bycatch and habitat destruction.
- Learn and get active. By learning more about what’s going on around you, you’ll be able to understand what is helping to destroy or protect our aquatic environments and those we share it with. One of our favourite quotes is:
“In the end we will conserve only what we love; we will love only what we understand; and we will understand only what we have been taught.”
― Baba Dioum
We want you to love our oceans and the magnificent creatures that live in them.
